 IMPORTANT NEWS The Order of the Silver Dragon is currently without an official residing place. All mail shall be recieved at the following adress: Ivana Gorana Kovačića 35, 10000 Zagreb. Grifon The Order proudly presents 10th issue of Grifon magazine.
2.VII.2008. The Order of the Silver Dragon was traditionally present at the tournament in Gornja Stubica. The tournament was held on Saturday, June 14th, 2008, in the organisation of Peasant revolutions Museum, Museum of Hrvatsko zagorje and Tourist Community of Krapinsko-zagorska županija. Tournament took place on several locations: in Oršić castle, Oršić castle park and around statue of Matija Gubec in Gornja Stubica. Participating medieval societies were: Knightly fellowship of Golden Cup, Knights of Zelina, Markus M from Czech Republic, Tahy's gunmen, Fellowship of White Wolf and our Order of the Silver Dragon. With Knights of Zelina, we were staging their already legendary history spectacle of fortress siege with God Trials and battle in the park of the Oršić castle, although there wasn't any mention (by mistake of the organisators) of our name in the program on the web and flyers. But, neither that, nor rain could spoil fun with our friends and one more re-enactment festival in vicinity of Zagreb, Croatia. 2.VII.2008. The Order of the Silver Dragon successfully participated in another two-day happening. This time it was "The Days of king Zvonimir", held on the Fortress of Knin, June 28th – 29th, 2008. The event was, for the first time, organized by the city of Knin, Tourist community of Knin and the Museum of Knin fortress. We were invited by our well-known and dear partners and friends, Knights of Zelina, to whom we owe deep gratitude for providing us with a tent, sleeping place, logistics, food and much more. During the trip to Knin, we were delayed a few hours due to the traffic jam on the highway, so we apologize once again to the organisation and our friends for being late. The event lasted the whole weekend, with the knight tournament in front of king Dmitar Zvonimir and queen Jelena, and with daytime and nighttime battle and siege. We have spent great and unforgettable moments, took wonderful photos on this unique and beautiful site, and during our return we had a bath under the thirty meters high waterfall on the river Krka spring.
